Andalucia Mia

Have you ever wanted to learn about Spain in the 70s from someone who's actually been there? Or perhaps get a taste of the type of people that lived there? Well, there's a fabulous little book written
by Lawrence Nevins on that very thing! The book is called "Andalucia Mia: My Sojourn in Spain ".

As the name implies, it gives lots of neat stories about his life in Spain. It tells of the people who he met and his experiences in a crazy political environment. I guess it would actually be easier to just show the product description from Amazon's website. Here it is!

"A young man’s coming-of-age adventure living among the people of southern Spain (Andalucía) in the late 70’s. Join him during two years as he witnesses a rapidly changing society in a country steeped in tradition. Immerse yourself in his fascinating exploits in various cities and towns, fall in love with the warm, gentle folk that he meets, and feel what it is like to walk the streets of ancient places once possessed by the Moors. Enjoy a front row seat at events like Semana Santa, a bull fight and the Fería of Seville. Get to know many families and how they live. In short, share the experience of living in Andalucía, and don’t be surprised when you find yourself planning your own adventure to Spain!"
